Read and Write Numbers with Decimals
We use place value to understand and work with decimal numbers. Each digit in a decimal number has a specific value based on its position, whether it's in the ones, tenths, hundredths, or beyond. By knowing the value of each place, we can read and write decimal numbers in standard form, word form, and expanded form.
